The Schedule

Felipe & Gabi will be in Santa Catarina from December 27. If you're thinking of spending a few extra days or even a few weeks in Brazil before the wedding, here's what's happening.

December 31

Reveillon

New Year's Eve on the beach, Brazilian-style

Reveillon is one of the biggest nights of the year in Brazil. People wear white for good luck, head to the beach, and stay out for fireworks at midnight. Balneário Camboriú puts on a huge celebration right on the water, so if you're in town, it's absolutely worth experiencing.

January 1

New Year's Day

Beach, açaí, and the first day of a great year

Spend the first day of the year taking it slow. Head to the beach, grab an açaí, get some sun, and settle into vacation mode. The coast is yours to explore before the wedding week really begins.

Bachelor / Bachelorette

A trip for the wedding party, details TBD

A pre-wedding trip for the wedding party. We're still finalizing the details, and we'll share more closer to the date.

Churrasco

A full-day Brazilian barbecue with everyone together

Join us for a proper Brazilian churrasco at Edifício Summerville in Balneário Camboriú.

We'll have professional churrasceiros grilling picanha, fraldinha, and all the classic cuts, plus a live pagode band playing throughout the day.

Expect cold beer, caipirinhas, good music, and plenty of time to hang out with everyone before the wedding. Come hungry and stay as long as you want.

Rest up and recharge. You'll need the energy.

Hit the beach, explore Balneário Camboriú, or just take it easy. Tomorrow is the big night. Check Travel & Region for ideas on what to do.
